General Civil

Tetra Tech RTW's personnel work for developers and represent them in negotiations with local and state government agencies. We work directly with municipalities to establish standards for review of developer-designed projects. Tetra Tech RTW provides ongoing consulting and design to municipalities and special districts on O & M, capital improvement programs, budgeting, and system evaluations for replacement reserves. Projects range from simple plant and plan reviews to complex treatment plant upgrades. Our engineers also direct diverse site development projects for education facilities, residential subdivisions, municipal and industrial plants, resorts, and commercial developments involving:

Storm Drainage Systems — floodplain determination, stormwater detention/retention, highway drainage, erosion control, nonpoint-source treatment systems
Water Distribution Facilities — treated water storage, water transmission mains, local distribution systems, treatment systems
Sanitary Sewer Facilities — population and flow analysis, sewage lift stations, local collection systems, trunk and interceptor systems, treatment systems, onsite disposal systems
Roadways & Site Layouts — easement acquisitions, grading, parking lots, geometric and pavement design, intersections, lighting.
