Regulatory Permits
Tetra Tech RTW has worked extensively with many cities, towns, and special districts to gain approval from any number of federal, state, county, and local agencies for water and wastewater project work. Some of these agencies include the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE), Corps of Engineers (404 permits), CDOT, county planning agencies (1041 permits), Colorado Department of Local Affairs, and Department of Energy. We have directed study efforts in order to recommend short- and long-term water and wastewater treatment strategies for numerous facilities and to serve as a basis for obtaining state funds.
Additionally, we have recommended upgrade scenarios to existing plants, or construction of a new plant, to meet permit limits. Tetra Tech RTW personnel have prepared engineering reports to support recommendations and gain approval from CDPHE. We have also conducted public hearings and coordinated efforts of others to develop financial planning and user fees.
